What a licence unlocks, and what happens without one.
Being written
This page is a stub.
A licence gates exactly one thing: how many ways into a flow may be armed at once. Everything else — shortcuts, the Hyper key, leader menus, snippets, variables, building and editing flows — is the same on a free copy.
Two things about that are worth stating plainly, because they are what make losing a licence harmless:
- A capped flow is never rewritten. It keeps its settings and simply stops claiming the keyboard. Regaining Pro turns it back on with nothing to redo.
- A press that is declined says why. It does not fail silently.
The Run button inside the flow editor is never capped, so a flow can always be built and tested.

- What counts as a "way in", and how the free allowance is spent
- Activating, and moving a licence to another Mac
- Going offline, and how long entitlement survives it
- Reading the state in the licence pane
